# Vimeo Settings

**Location:** MediaBlaster → General Settings → **Vimeo Settings** tab

Requires **Enable Vimeo Integration** on the General Settings tab. After connecting Vimeo on the [Integrations](integrations-vimeo-oauth.md) tab, use these options to control how imported data is applied to your WordPress posts.

## Import preferences

| Setting | Description |
|---------|-------------|
| **Title Import** | When enabled, Vimeo video titles can overwrite the WordPress post title during import. |
| **Description Import** | When enabled, Vimeo descriptions can populate the post content/body. |

Turn these off if you prefer to write your own titles and descriptions in WordPress and only pull stream URLs and technical metadata from Vimeo.

## Vimeo uploads

| Setting | Description |
|---------|-------------|
| **Enable Vimeo Uploads** | Shows an upload panel on supported video posts so you can push local files to Vimeo from the editor. Requires an active OAuth connection. |

When uploads are enabled and Vimeo is connected, editors see **Upload to Vimeo** controls on the Vimeo metabox. See [Vimeo metabox](metabox-vimeo-import.md).

## Refresh existing data

The **Refresh Existing Vimeo Data** button re-fetches metadata for posts that already have a saved Vimeo URL. Use this after bulk changes on Vimeo or when thumbnails and durations are out of date.

This operation runs via AJAX and may take time on large catalogs — run during low-traffic periods.
