# WordPress.org Listing Assets and Screenshot Plan

The first five images must explain Yatoon's value without requiring visitors to read the full description. Use real populated screens, one consistent salon brand, large readable text, and no private customer data.

WordPress.org listing artwork belongs in the plugin SVN root `/assets` directory, not inside the installable plugin ZIP.

## Required storefront artwork

- `icon-256x256.png`: simple Yatoon mark on a high-contrast solid background; readable at 128px.
- `icon-128x128.png`: separately exported, sharp small-size version.
- `banner-1544x500.png`: service-options and confirmation screens plus the concise headline "Salon booking, built for real service teams."
- `banner-772x250.png`: half-size export of the same safe-area composition for standard-density displays.

Keep text and important UI away from the outer 10% safe area. Do not place ratings, discounts, competitor names, or claims that cannot be verified in the artwork.

## Capture checklist

- Capture desktop screenshots at 1440px or wider and mobile screenshots near 390x844 CSS pixels.
- Use believable services and staff names, but never real customer contact details.
- Show completed/populated states rather than empty dashboards.
- Crop browser and WordPress chrome when it does not help explain the feature.
- Verify every screenshot caption in `readme.txt` matches the same numbered asset.
- Compress PNG files losslessly and inspect text at the size shown on WordPress.org.

## Proof assets outside WordPress.org

Create a 60-90 second silent-caption walkthrough showing: select multiple services, choose Any Staff, choose a time, upload a design photo, confirm, view the receipt, and see the appointment in Square. Link it from the Yatoon product page and support replies.

Publish a short case study from the real nail salon installation. Include the starting problem, booking workflow, Square handoff, months in production, and two or three measured outcomes that can be proven.
