Sign up for a SearchIQ account at www.searchiq.xyz 2. Validate you account with the confirmation email. 3. Login to the dashboard, you will find your API key from My Profile option. 4. Install SearchIQ wordpress plugin and activate it. 5. Select SearchIQ plugin from your wordpress dashboard, then enter your API key. 6. Give a name to your search engine. 7. Synchronize your posts to SearchIQ servers. 8. Your data is now searchable. If you are facing any issues then please email at support@searchiq.xyz == Frequently Asked Questions == = Where do I signup for an account? = Sign up at www.searchiq.xyz = Where can I find the API key? = Login to your dashboard and select My Profile menu, you will find your api key there. = Does it make the site slow? = SearchIQ synchronize all the data from the site to its own fast servers which takes all the burden of search from the current site, as all search related action is performed on SearchIQ servers. The site only shows results pulled from SearchIQ servers. = Is there any analytical reporting? = SearchIQ provides a near real-time analytical report in the dashboard. Report shows what users are searching, most clicked search results and many more. This can help you to focus on what is trending on your site. = Why SearchIQ doesn't work for my website? = There could be two reasons for this, one your site doesn't have a search bar. Currently, we only support site that has a search box. Second, if your site has a search box then search box input element name could be other than 's' (by default wordpress give it as 's' like this 'input type="text" value="Type keywords..." name="s" id="s"'), please inspect the search box element and copy the name in "Search box name" field under "Options" tab in SearchIQ plugin.
