Embed RSS lets users embed an RSS feed into a page.

== Description ==

NOTE: Version 2.0+ REMOVES the ability to embed RSS feeds in a post.  This is because it was too easy for users to crash their own servers in infinite loops.  As of version 2.2, you can only embed RSS feeds onto PAGES.

This tag places an icon in the tinymce visual editor and a button in the html editor that allows a user to enter an RSS feed url, choose the number of items to display, and choose to display content, author or date for each item. It works via the use of a shortcode in the following format:

[cetsEmbedRSS id='http://en.blog.wordpress.com/feed/' itemcount='2' itemauthor='1' itemdate='1' itemcontent='1']

== Installation ==

Extract the folder and place in the wp-content/plugins folder. Activate the plugin.

To upgrade from 1.3.3 to 1.4, delete the cets\_EmbeddRss\_config.php file and the tinymce/window.php file. Upload the rest of the files.

== Changelog ==

2.2 - IMPORTANT: Version 2+ no longer supports embedding feeds in posts. You can now only embed feeds in PAGES.  This is because of way too many situations of people accidentally crashing their sites by putting them into infinite loops.
