The official EmailOctopus WordPress plugin adds a customisable form widget connected to EmailOctopus, allowing visitors to subscribe to a list.

[EmailOctopus](https://emailoctopus.com) is a service for sending low cost and trackable marketing emails. EmailOctopus sends your emails through Amazon's Simple Email Service (SES), saving money without sacrificing deliverability.

== Installation ==

1. In your WordPress admin panel, go to Plugins > New Plugin, search for EmailOctopus and click 'Install now'. Alternatively, download the plugin and upload the contents of email-octopus.zip to your plugins directory, which is usually located at '/wp-content/plugins/'.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. You'll find the EmailOctopus widget under the 'Appearance -> Widgets' menu. Drag it to a sidebar to activate.
4. Enter the id. of the list you want to connect to. You can get this from the 'Forms' tab within any EmailOctopus list.
