Easily adds STATIC MAPS to a WP website. Choose between different versions of Google / OpenStreetMap / Bing maps, set map parameters and map markers.

== Description ==

Easy Static Maps is the WordPress plugin for drawing static maps with the main web map services: Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Bing Maps.
It's easy to use and works out of the box for beginners. With Easy Static Maps you can create maps according to your wishes in a few seconds, choosing the web map service to use, the type of the map (road maps, satellite images, hybrid maps, physical maps, light and dark themes), the level of the zoom, size, format and image quality. You can also add markers (virtual pins) at any point on the map with custom colors, sizes and labels.
With little expense you can buy the Pro or Ultimate version of Easy Static Maps: you will have the ability to add custom routes and lines, circles, colored areas and you'll be able to style your maps in any way you want, adding custom icons to the markers, changing colors of elements and labels on the map or making them invisible.

= In WordPress =

1. Go to "Plugins" -> "Add New" -> search for "Easy Static Maps"
2. Press "Install Now" for the Easy Static Maps plugin
3. Press "Activate Plugin"

= Manual installation =

Easy Static Maps can be installed in 3 easy steps:

1. In your WordPress dashboard click on Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin and select this zip file
2. Install the zip file and activate the plugin
3. Inside the WordPress admin, go to Easy Static Maps > ESM settings, fill in the fields with your API keys and save them.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= I filled in all the fields correctly but I can't see any map preview. Why? =

Several answers are possible:
A) You have not entered the correct API keys in the plugin settings page, or the keys have expired or have been disabled. Check if they have been saved and if they are still active;
B) There is an error in the fields filled in, try to check again if you have entered particular characters that are not recognized by the web map systems or if you have selected an option not available for the chosen map service (for example you have selected the "Dark" map theme that is not available with Google Maps);
C) The chosen web map service does not correctly recognize the address entered for the center of the map or for the markers; try to get the geographic coordinates of these points and insert them in the appropriate fields.
