1. Upload the `aeomatic` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install through **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**, or install directly from **Plugins → Add New** searching for "AEOmatic".
2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu.
3. Go to **Settings → Permalinks** and click **Save Changes**. This is required once after activation so the `/llms.txt` and `/llms-full.txt` endpoints work.
4. Go to **AEOmatic → Settings** and configure your Organization name, logo, and crawler preferences.
5. Open any post in the editor. Click the **AEOmatic** icon in the top-right toolbar to open the sidebar. You will see the detected schema type, auto-populated fields, and a live JSON-LD preview.

Deactivating the plugin stops the AI crawler visit log, unregisters the `/llms.txt` and `/llms-full.txt` endpoints, and removes the injected schema, HTTP headers, and robots.txt AI directives. Your posts, pages, WooCommerce products, and any content you authored remain untouched. **Uninstalling** (deleting via **Plugins → Delete**) additionally removes AEOmatic's own options and per-post schema cache. It does not remove your Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, or SEOPress settings — those were never modified.
